Meet Ella

Ella is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and the proud owner of Words in Bloom Speech Pathology.

She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from La Trobe University, where she completed research in the field of autism and early intervention.

  • Ella is the lead speech pathologist and founder of Words in Bloom Speech Pathology (WiBSP). She is a warm, compassionate and dedicated speechie who supports children and their families across a wide range of areas, including speech, language, fluency, literacy and social communication. Ella is also a certified SOS Feeding Therapist, having completed additional training in supporting children with feeding challenges.

Ella brings a thoughtful, strengths-based philosophy to her work. She deeply values collaborative partnerships with families and educators, recognising that meaningful progress happens when therapy extends beyond the clinic and into children’s everyday environments.

A true child at heart, Ella is known for her playful, engaging and responsive therapy style. She carefully tailors each session to a child’s individual strengths, interests and goals, creating supportive spaces where children feel safe, confident and empowered to communicate in ways that feel authentic to them.

Beyond her work at WiBSP, Ella also practises at The Speech Express in Chirnside Park and works as a Casual Academic at La Trobe University, contributing to ongoing clinical research initiatives.

Her special interests include working with neurodiverse children and their families, supporting children and adolescents who stutter, and paediatric feeding.
